Shildon are in the hat for the 3rd Qualifying round of the FA Cup after beating Altrincham 1-0 at Dean Street.
Cameron Fenton headed into the net after Billy Greulich-Smith’s penalty was saved by Anthony Thompson in the last minute of the game.
The draw for the 1st Round of the Durham Challenge Cup has been drawn and we will be away to Durham City. The tie is due to be played in the last week preceding Saturday 28th October 2017

Two Matty Robson penalty’s gave Shildon all three points against Stockton Town.
Nick Liversedge produced a number of excellent saves throughout the game to keep his clean sheet in tact.
Dave Renyard was brought down just inside the box the first penalty 10 minutes into the second half and Billy Greulich-Smith was brought down in the last minute. Daniel Moore also seemed to have been brought down in the box but the referee and linesman ruled against it.
