Shildon AFC is delighted to announce the signing (subject to FA approval) of Ben Errington. Ben is a defender who started his career with South Shields FC U18’s and has also played at Sunderland RCA before moving to Bishop Auckland FC.
Shildon AFC Manager, Chris Hughes, said: “We have tried to sign Ben previously so when we saw he was potentially available this summer we moved quickly. Ben has all of the qualities you would want from a defender. He is physically strong, tactically aware and can use the ball efficiently from the back. He is still keen to develop his game and we look forward to helping him with that. He has experience of being part of a promoted squad and we hope he can use that to support us with our ambitions this season”.
