Shildon AFC is delighted to announce the signing of forward Adam Lennox from Whickham FC.
The player joins on a dual registration with Consett AFC and previously played for Heaton Stannington following a successful spell at Seaham Red Star.
Shildon AFC First Team Manager, Chris Hughes, said: “We are delighted to get Adam in. We have had a really tough season in the forward areas with losing Brad in the summer followed by injuries for Billy and Jordan. We currently have Andrei injured and Ben with a niggling injury.
Adam has a proven track record of scoring at this level. He is different to what we currently have up front and will be an asset to the squad. We know he will help us get back up the league and we will help him get his career back on track at the same time.
Adam has been added to today’s first team squad and is available for selection.
