A Comfortable Win

Shildon AFC had a comfortable 8 – 0 victory away to already relegated Billingham Town on Saturday 22nd March 2014, with the Railwaymen scoring 4 goals in each half.

First Ben Wood on 11 minutes from a narrow angle, followed 3 minutes later by Chris Emms who chipped the ball over keeper Joe Williamson.     On the half hour Paul Connor fired through a crowd of players with the ball going in off the bar. Then Chris Emms got his 2nd of the day when he  beat his man and fired a cracker past the keeper.

Just before the whistle, captain Mark Hudson’s left footer crashed into the roof of the net, again giving the keeper no chance
