ShildonAFC played their last game of the season away at Dunston UTS on Saturday 26th April 2014 with the game ending all square at 1 -1
The Railwaymen went ahead after just 15 minutes when Ben Wood was clean through but was brought down by keeper Liam Connell, who was lucky to stay on the field. Ben Wood picked himself up and converted the spot kick.
Chances fell to Paul Connor, Chris Emms and Billy Greulich-Smith, before Dunston’s keeper Liam Connell was substituted because of injury sustained with his earlier clash with Ben Wood.

Dunston were level just after the kick off when Stephen Goddard crossed from the right for an easy tap in from 6 yards for Lee McAndrew.
The home side came more into the game in the 2nd half and on 75 minutes a left wing cross found Andrew Bulford who was 6yards out but Shildon’s keeper Lewis Graham made a great flying touch save turning the ball around the post. Late on another chances fell to the same player Bulford but fortunately for Shildon he had left his shooting boots at home.
