Shildon Back on Course
Shildon AFC are now 6 points behind league leaders Celtic Nation with 3 games in hand after their 4 – 2 away win at Team Northumbria on Monday 10th March 2014.
Tonight they made up for their failure to score on Saturday going 2 -0 up in the first 8 minutes. With only 5 minutes gone Mark Hudson fired home from close range, then 3 minutes later a Craig Ruddy through ball found Paul Connor who rounded the keeper in style. It was 3 – 0 on 27 minutes when Ruddy crossed to Jamie Harwood who nodded down to Connor to score his 2nd of the night.

T.N. kept pressing forward and were unlucky on 86 minutes when a shot hit the bar. They did pull a goal back on 90 minutes when Louis Storey found the net.
In stoppage time Ben Wood chipped the ball into the net for Shildon.
