Shildon AFC stretched their lead at the top of the league to 15 points after a one-sided 3 – 0 away win at Penrith on Wednesday 16th March 2016.
The Railwaymen have now won their last 9 league games in a row scoring 38 goals whilst only conceding 3.
They opening the score on 19 minutes when a Lewis Dodds shot was parried by the keeper to Billy Gruelich-Smith who fired in from close range.

Straight from the break Jamie Harwood ran through on the right and scored from the edge of the box.
On the hour a long through ball found Micky Rae who fired a great shot into the bottom corner giving keeper Aaron Taylor no chance.
It was all Shildon from the kick off to the final whistle with Penrith not able to get a single shot on target the whole of the game. A Penrith supporter remarked Shildon are the best footballing side to visit The Blues this season.
