Another Comfortable Win

Shildon AFC carried on their excellent winning ways with a very comfortable 3 – 0 home win against Sunderland RCA on Saturday 9th April 2016.

The Railwaymen now have a 19 point lead at the top of the table from second placed Marske Utd, who have three games in hand. They are also 20 points ahead of Morpeth Town who have six games in hand.

Shildon missed two good chances before they took the lead when Lewis Wing fired into the bottom corner on 11 minutes.

They missed three more opportunities before Billy Greulich-Smith made it 2 – 0 with a diving header. Several more chances were missed up to the interval.

It was one way traffic with RCA keeper Michael Wood making several good saves, before Billy Greulich-Smith found Paul Connor who scored the third with a few minutes remaining.
