Before the kick off the crowd paid a minutes silence on behalf of Judith Howe who died on 4th November. Judith is the beloved wife of our secretary and treasurer Gareth Howe. She will be sadly missed.
Shildon AFC kept up their winning ways with another comfortable 3 – 0 home win against Jarrow Roofing on Saturday 5th November 2016 with all the goals scored from headers.
On 16 minutes a right wing cross from Dan Groves found Daniel Moore who headed past keeper Andrew Hunter. Shildon increased their lead just before the interval when captain Moore scored his second goal of the day with another header through a crowd of players.

Before the hour it was game over when new signing Amar Purwal headed in from close range.
