Ashington 1 Shildon 2
A dominant first half display by Shildon put them 2-0 up before the break.
First goal was a Lewis Wing free kick from 25 yards and the second a bullet header by Gary Brown from a corner from Lewis.
Ben Harmison pulled a goal back for Ashington in the second half
New Signing
Shildon have this morning completed the signing of Anthony Bell a left midfield/defender from Darlington.
Supporters Club Travel to Whitley Bay
Names are now being taken for the Northern League game against Whitley Bay which will take place on Tuesday 13th October.

Shildon lost their third league game of the season, going down 2-1 at home to Consett.
Consett went into a 2 goal lead with goals from a header from King and a deflected effort from Sweet.
Shildon’s goal coming from Mark Doninger in injury time at the end of the game.
Supporters Club Coach to Ashington
The supporters club are running a bus to Ashington for the Northern League game on the 10th of October.
