Shildon manager Daniel Moore has today made his first signing of the summer by bringing Anthony Peacock to the club.
The former Middlesbrough academy player has previously played for Darlington, Spennymoor and last season Billingham Synthonia.
Daniel Moore said “Since taking over as Manager i have been looking to bring Anthony to the Club. I have played with him in the past and he is without doubt one of the best footballers i have played with, along with his undoubted quality Anthony’s attitude and desire to win trophies he will be a massive boost to an already hungry squad and i am delighted to welcome him to the club.”

Shildon AFC have created a new Facebook page and a new Twitter Feed so that all three media outputs can be linked together. The Twitter feed will go directly to the website and any new post from the website will automatically update the Facebook page.
The new username for the Twitter account will be @Official_SAFC. Manager Daniel Moore and Chairman David Dent will both have input to the new Twitter Account. Tweets from Daniel will be signed DM and David signed DD.
The page name on the Facebook account is @ShildonAFC.
Massive congratulations go to Lewis Wing who was last night name the Bob Moreland Young Player of the Year at the Annual Northern League Awards last night.

The Supporters Club bus for the day trip to Whitby will set off from Dean Street on Saturday at 10:30am.
It will set off to return to Shildon from Whitby at 8pm
Shildon are delighted that Evo-Stik Northern Premier Champions Blyth Spartans have agreed to play a pre-season friendly at Dean Street on Tuesday July 11th, kick off 7:30pm.
Admission to the game will be £5 for adults and £3 for concessions.
We look forward to welcoming Alun Armstrong’s Vanarama National League North team to Dean Street.
The next Shildon AFC Supporters Club meeting will be held in the Clubhouse on Friday 2nd June at 7pm.
Chairman David Dent and Manager Daniel Moore will both be in attendance to hold a talk in with the supporters.
