Shildon AFC is delighted to announce the signing of Nathan Greenwood from West Auckland Town FC for an undisclosed transfer fee.
Nathan was a player at the Sunderland AFC Academy playing regularly in the 2019/20 Premier League 2 season. After being released from Sunderland he went on to play for Seaham Red Star FC, Whickham FC and Consett AFC before joining West Auckland Town.
Shildon AFC First Team Manager, Chris Hughes, commented: “Nathan is a top quality footballer and will bring a different dimension to our attacking play. We are short in numbers at the top end of the pitch and have lacked that final moment on several occasions this season. We know Nathan will bring in quality for us and we hope to be able to support him in kick starting his career.”
