Shildon AFC Supporters Club Meeting
The next Shildon AFC Supporters Club meeting will be held on Tuesday 22nd November with a starting time of 7pm in the clubhouse at Dean Street.
Existing members and anybody wishing to join the Supporters Club welcome.
It costs £2 to join the Supporters club and membership entitles supporters to vote at the Annual General Meeting and to receive a discount on Supporters Bus travel.
Match Postponed v North Shields
Tonight’s game against North Shields was called off this afternoon due to snow on the pitch.

Amar Purewal scored his first goal for Shildon as they ran out 3-0 winners over Jarrow Roofing.
Shildon first two goals were scored by Bobby Moore first heading in from a Dan Groves cross and then heading in from a corner.

Judith Howe
It is with regret that we sadly announce, Judith Howe, wife of Shildon AFC Secretary Gareth passed away suddenly but peacefully at 8:30 this morning.
All the club Directors, and I am sure I speak for all the Shildon AFC fans, would like to offer our deepest condolences to Gareth and his family at this sad time and our thoughts and hearts are with them.
Judith’s funeral will take place at St. Johns Church on the 17th November at 12:30 then back to Elm Road.
Remembrance Day
At the Shildon Remembrance Day parade, we are delighted that Club captain Bobby Moore will lay the Shildon AFC wreath on behalf of us all.
Transfer News : Amar Purewal
We are delighted to announce that Amar Purewal has now signed a permanent contract with Shildon AFC after his initial loan spell.

Shildon Remain 4th in the League
Shildon AFC are still 4th in the league after a 2 – 1 away victory at Marske United on Saturday 29th October 2016.
However, the score line was not a true reflection of the game as Shildon should have won by a far greater margin. In fact, Dale Mulligan’s headed goal was Marske’s one and only effort on target for the whole of the game.
Shildon were on the attack from the kick off and after just 6 minutes Micky Rae was clean through but he shot wide. Two minutes later Marske’s keeper Robert Dean’s poor clearance went straight to Micky Rae who lobbed the ball over Dean’s head only for it to hit the bar. It was third time lucky for Micky on 9 minutes when he fired passed keeper Dean.
Anth Bell increased the lead on 25 minutes with a great left foot long range drive.
Just before the interval a right wing corner from Curtis Round was headed in by Nathan Mulligan for Marske.

Despite Shildon creating several chances there was no more goals in the 2nd half. Billy Greulich-Smith failed to connect and Amar Purewal’s shot was weak. Paul Connor was through and somehow missed. Shortly after he was unmarked and missed again from 6 yards out.

Not the best of games. It was a one sided affair which Shildon should have won easily had they taken their chances. Shildon’s keeper Nick Liversedge didn’t have one save to make.
