Congratulations to Dom Harrison from our U15 team. He has signed a contract at Middlesbrough FC. Shildon Football Club would like to wish him well at Middlesbrough and hope to see him move through the age groups in the future all of the way to the first team.
Dom is one of several players who have had trials at pro clubs over the season from the U15s and we hope he is the first of many to be recognised and secure a contract with a professional club.
This just goes to show the standard of player we have representing our teams at the moment. A big thanks must go to his coach and the rest of the squad who all contribute to players who are noticed by the professional clubs.
Good luck to all teams this weekend!! You never know who is watching so always give it your best.
