Shildon continued their unbeaten start to the season with a 2-1 victory away to Seaham Red Star.
Dave Renyard scored twice, the first from a free kick from 20 yards after Billy Greulich-Smith was brought down and the second a great solo effort.
Our next game is at home on Monday 28th against our local rivals West Auckland, kick off 11am

Due to our involvement in the FA Cup, our game against Ashington which was due to be played on Saturday, August 19th will now be played on Wednesday 27th September, Kick Off: 7:30 pm.
We will now play Guisborough Town away in the FA Cup preliminary round on Saturday 19th August.
Our game against Stockton Town originally going to be played on the Saturday 14th April 2018 will now be played on Saturday 9th September 2017

The Pitch Squares prize draw was drawn after the Morpeth Town game on Saturday.

Shildon are through to the next round of the FA Cup with a 2-0 victory at home to Morpeth Town.
Matty Robson gave Shildon the lead 10mins into the first half from the penalty spot after Jamie Harwood was brought down in the box.
In the second half, Lewis Dodds doubled the lead after charging down a clearance from the Morpeth Keeper. At the other end, Nick Liversedge produce a couple of fine saves to preserve his clean sheet.

We are delighted that we have completed the signing of attacking midfield/forward David Renyard to go straight into the squad for the FA Cup game against Morpeth Town on Saturday.
The 28-year-old brings a wealth of experience to the club having played at Gretna, Celtic Nation, and Workington.
