Pre-Season Friendlies v Basford United & Selston

Shildon have arranged a couple of friendlies on 21st & 22nd of July in Nottingham

On the 21st we will play Basford United of the Evo-Stik First Division South with a 7:30pm kick off and the Selston FC. The following day  Selston FC will be our opponents who this season became Central Midlands South League & Cup double winners, with a 3pm kick off.

Both games will be held at Basford United’s ground.

There will be a bus travelling with an overnight stay. Anyone wishing to travel please email programme@shildonafc.com, or comment below. Bookings will also be taken at the Supporters Club meeting on Friday June 2nd.

The cost of the trip has been set at £ 70 per person and includes 1 night overnight stay at the Premier Inn.

Travelling with the team the bus will be leaving from Dean Street at 2pm on Friday 21st July to travel to Nottingham returning on Saturday evening after the Selston game.

Twitter & Facebook

Shildon AFC have created a new Facebook page and a new Twitter Feed so that all three media outputs can be linked together. The Twitter feed will go directly to the website and any new post from the website will automatically update the  Facebook page.

The new username for the Twitter account will be @Official_SAFC. Manager Daniel Moore and Chairman David Dent will both have input to the new Twitter Account. Tweets from Daniel will be signed DM and David signed DD.

New Physio : Paul Scott

Welcome to the club Paul Scott who will be our Physio for the 2017/18 Season.

Paul who is a Sports Medicine Practitioner has over 25 years working in pre-hospital Emergency medicine and trauma. Paul has also worked in sports medicine with professional and semi professional football teams, professional boxing and World Rally Car teams.

Currently working at the FA and England Boxing as medical education tutor and also spent 4 years with Whitby Town FC.
