Shildon AFC can confirm that their Manager, Daniel Moore has committed to the Club for the next 2 years. Mark Hudson, his Assistant Manager is also staying as the Club seek to win promotion, having cruelly being denied a place in the Northern Premier League last season.
Chairman, David Dent said “ We have unfinished business and both Daniel and Mark want to see the project through. I’m delighted that they’ve decided to stay. They are still only young and I can see them managing Shildon AFC at a much higher level but for now it represents stability at the Club which is a cornerstone for most successful teams”
The Management team will be joined by a familiar face in Danny Craggs who is stepping into a Player Coaching role next season.
Moore said “ Myself and Mark are delighted to commit to the club for another 2 years. We have worked hard, built a team and a fantastic dressing room alongside the vision of the chairman that would achieve promotion, unfortunately that has not happened…We move on !! This has made us even more determined to go one better next year alongside another crack at the Vase. We have lots of time to prepare and that began the minute the season stopped. We will be strengthening the squad that were brilliant last year as well as over seeing the set up of the new reserve team.
All I ask is for the same support. The supporters and this club run through me and I will give everything I can to bring it success”
