Shildon AFC is delighted to announce that Alex Hutchinson has joined the Railwaymen from FC Hartlepool on a dual-registration basis with Whitby Town FC.
Supporters may recognise Alex as he has previously played for Shildon, making 12 appearances and scoring 2 goals.
Shildon AFC Manager, Chris Hughes, said “We are pleased to address the short term problem we have up front by bringing Alex back to the club. With Billy, Andrei and Jordan all out of action it was important we brought in a striker to support Ben and the rest of the attacking players in the team. Alex knows what we are all about as he was with us for a period of time a few seasons ago. We know he will help with his hold up play and know he will finish well if we can get him opportunities to score.
