As Chairman of Shildon AFC, I am announcing the immediate enforcement of a strict ban on the use of pyrotechnic devices – including flares, smoke bombs, and fireworks – within our stadium and at all associated events.
This decision aligns with our unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of our supporters, players, staff, and the broader community.
The use of pyrotechnics poses significant risks, including severe injuries and potential legal consequences. It is illegal to bring such devices into football grounds, and individuals found in possession or using them will face prosecution and will be banned from the Club.
We urge all supporters to contribute to a safe and enjoyable matchday experience by adhering to this policy. Your cooperation is essential in fostering a secure environment for everyone present.
