ENL1 RESULT | Ryhope CW 0 Shildon 2

Shildon moved joint top of the Ebac Northern League after a 2-0 victory away to Ryhope CW

New Signing Keith Graydon scored after only 5 minutes  of his debut for the club  with a shot from outside the box. Billy Greulich-Smith added the second in the 91st minute to secure the win.

ENL1 Result | Guisborough Town 1 Shildon 4

Jack Blackford scored a hat trick as Shildon ran out 4-1 winners against Guisborough Town.

Blackford opened the scoring after 13 mins. Nathan Steel then replied for Guisborough to send the teams in level at half time.

The game turned in the 67th minute when Matty Crust was sent off after receiving a second yellow for kicking the ball away. 2 mins later Matty Waters restored Shildon’s lead. Blackford then added a further 2 to complete his hat-trick.

Cleator Cup – Dunston UTS v Shildon

Due to the cancellation of the Cleator Cup against Marske United on Saturday we approached the Northern League proposing that as we were the highest placed Northern League Team last season we would be available to play Dunston UTS to enable the Cleator Cup to go ahead this season.

After discussions with ourselves, The Ebac Northern League and Dunston UTS we have agreed, and the game will be played on Tuesday 31st July, Kick Off 7:30pm at The UTS Stadium, Wellington Road, Dunston, Gateshead, Tyne & Wear. NE11 9JL
