Emirates FA Cup – Preliminary Round @TadcasterAlbion , Supporters Club Travel

With Team Northumbria unfortunately resigning from the Northern League we have been given a bye in the Extra Preliminary Round of the FA Cup.

Tadcaster Albion of the Evo-Stik East League will now be our next opponents in the Preliminary Round on Saturday 25th August.

The Supporters Club will be running a bus to the game, can anyone who would like to travel please get in touch with either Paul Mulley or Russ Henderson to reserve your seat.

 

FIXTURE CHANGE | West Auckland Away

With our involvement in the FA Vase starting in the 1st Round Proper, the Ebac Northern League have brought our fixture away to West Auckland forward. It will now be played on Saturday 1st September.

CONTRACT NEWS | Billy signs New Contract

Shildon forward Billy Greulich-Smith has committed himself to Shildon for a further 2 years by signing  a new contract.

Chairman David Dent said ” I’m absolutely delighted that Billy has extended his contract. This is a massive step forward in our plans for the future with one of the top players in the Northern League committing his immediate future to our project here at Shildon”.

 

Adam Burnicle moves to Morpeth Town

The club wishes Adam Burnicle good luck  as he signs for Evostik East League new boys Morpeth Town.

During his time at the club Adam scored 25 goals in 59 appearances and as voted by the Supporters Club, Performance of the Season for his 2 goals against Banbury United in the FA Cup last Season. The goals which the FA deemed enough to have his name printed on the FA Cup Final Match Ball.

 

Shildon AFC Supporters Club Spruce Up Weekend @ShildonFans @Shildon_AFC

Shildon AFC Supporters Club is calling for volunteers who can spare any amount of time to help with the club’s annual spruce up in preparation for the coming season.

The weekend spruce up will take place on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th  June, from 9am onwards each day.

The weekend will involve a general clean up around the ground as well as painting of the perimeter boards.

Volunteers are asked, wherever possible to bring along any spare tins of white paint they may have, paintbrushes and rollers.

Equipment will also be provided for those who cannot bring any along.
