Shildon are just 90mins away from the 1st Round of the FA Cup after a stunning performance against Banbury United
The hosts took the lead when Tom Winters fired into the top corner from the edge of the box. Adam Burnicle equalised to send the teams into halftime 1-1.
In the second half Player/Manager, Daniel Moore headed into the net and Burnicle grabbed his second to put Shildon 3-1 up. Ricky Johnson then pulled a goal back heading in from a Tom Winters cross to make it a nervy last 10 minutes as the home side pressed, but excellent defending by Dan Groves & Dominic Curl who both cleared efforts off the line sent Shildon through.
The draw will be made live on Talksport 2 on Monday at 1pm.

Billy Greulich-Smith came off the bench in the second half to keep Shildon’s unbeaten start to the season going.
Callum Johnston opened the scoring early in the first half, Shildon having a few chances to equalise before the break, Renyard with a couple just wide and Burnicle who had a shot saved at close range.
Shildon remain in second place 2 points behind Morpeth with a game in hand.
Cameron Fenton scored 14 mins into the second half to move Shildon up to 2nd in the Ebac Northern League. Morpeth drew 2-2 at Guisborough to remain at the top of the table. Guisborough’s equaliser coming in the 94th minute.
Adam McGuinness was sent off for Sunderland RCA after receiving his second yellow card, both for fouls on Martyn Coleman.
New signing Martyn Coleman scored on his debut as Shildon ran out 3-0 winners against Sunderland RCA.
Billy Greulich-Smith opened the scoring with a header and Anthony Peacock added a second with a curling shot just before the break. Coleman added the third with a fine turn and shot into the bottom corner of the net from just inside the box.
Congratulations to Shildon AFC youth team who produced a magnificent performance winning 4-2 against Darlington last night in the FA Youth Cup 1st Qualifying Round.
