Shildon’s 100% away record in the league ended with a 1-0 defeat at Morpeth.
Chris Reid was sent off for Morpeth late in the first half after receiving 2 yellow cards in the space of 10 mins.
Liam Henderson scored the only goal of the game with 17 mins remaining.
In the final minute of the game Matty Robson was sent off after receiving his second yellow of the game.

Shildon have been drawn to play against Gateshead away in the 2nd Round of the Durham Challenge Cup.

The second round of the Ebac Northern League Cup draw has taken place and we will be away to Willington.
Tie to be played wc 13th November.
Mark Hudson Returns to Shildon AFC

We are delighted to announce the return of Mark Hudson as First Team Coach. Mark who captained the side in our famous Northern League title side has gained experience in a coaching capacity at West Auckland and he will now look to apply some of those experiences in working alongside Daniel Moore and Mickey Barron as we seek to challenge for honours this season.

Fixture change : Ryhope CW
Our game with Ryhope CW in the Ebac Northern League Division One which was due to be played on the 11th November will now be played on Wednesday 10th January 2018.
We will now play Marske United in the 2nd Round of the FA Vase after they beat AFC Darwen tonight 3-2
