ENL1 RESULT | Seaham Red Star 1 Shildon 1

In  a wind affected game Daryll Hall scored his first goal for the club on his return to gain a point.

In a wind affected game the teams went in goalless at half time. Danny Earl and Keith Graydon both had shots saved by the Seaham keeper with Shaun Newbrook also making a good save to keep it 0-0.

After 74mins Daryll Hall rose highest to meet a Keith Graydon free kick and head in to back of the net to give Shildon the lead. 3 minutes later though Seaham leveled through Wilson.

ENL1 RESULT | Shildon 1 Hebburn Town 3

Hebburn went top of the Ebac Northern League with a 3-1 victory.

Shildon were 2-0 down within the opening quarter of an hour as James Fairley and Michael Richardson scored 2 in 3 minutes.

Danny Earl pulled a goal back, but, with 10 minutes to go Dom Curl sliced into his own net.

NEW SIGNING | Daryll Hall

Welcome back to the club Daryll Hall.

Daryll has recently just returned from playing football in Australia and has received international clearance.

He will go straight into the squad for tomorrow’s game against Hebburn Town.

ENL1 Result | Shildon 2 Whickham 1

Shildon moved back to the top of the table with a 2-1 victory over Whickham.

Whickham took the lead after 12mins with a counter attack ending with Joe Mole heading in at the far post.

After that Shildon upped the pressure and Jack Blackford got them level with a fine finish into the bottom corner of the net. Just before half time he produced a carbon copy of the goal to put Shildon ahead.

In the second half the young Shildon side (fielding 7 under 21) withstood pressure from Whickham to gain the points.

ENL1 RESULT | West Auckland 3 Shildon 0

Shildon’s unbeaten start to the league ended with a 3-0 defeat to local rivals West Auckland.

Daniel Moore and Shaun Newbrook were both sent of as Shildon ended the game with 9 men.

Nathan Fisher opened the scoring after 41mins with a well taken goal which flew into the top corner of the net. Danny Earl had a couple of chances to level early in the second half, but a good save from Shane Bland denied the Shildon front man.

After 86mins Amar Purewal made it 2-0 and a minute later the Shildon keeper was sent off after receiving 2 yellow cards in the space of 30 seconds. Purewall then added a third in the 2nd minute of injury time.
