Shildon are delighted to announce that Peter Jeffries has signed from Blyth Spartans.
The former Hartlepool United, Bishop Auckland and Spennymoor Town stopper starred in Spartans’ run to the Emirates FA Cup Third Round during the 2014/15 season.
Shildon came back from a goal down in the first 3 minutes to win 3-1 at Whitley Bay.
Chris Moore opened the scoring for Whitley Bay as he found himself unmarked in the Shildon penalty area and put the ball past Nick Liversedge in the Shildon goal.
Billy Greulich-Smith then scored two penalties to make the score 2-1 at half time. In the second half Lewis Wing had a shot deflected to beat the keeper at the near post to make it 3-1

Shildon AFC are delighted to be hosting The FA Sunday Cup 3rd Round game between Newton Aycliffe Locomotion FC and Stockton Hardwick Social Club on Sunday 11th December.
The social Club will be open from Noon and admission to the game is £2.
Match Kicks off at 2pm
The Supporters Club have a bus going to Whitley Bay on Saturday 10th December.
Seats are still available and the bus will be leaving from Dean Street at 1pm.
