ENL1 : Whitley Bay 1 Shildon 3

Shildon came back from a goal down in the first 3 minutes to win 3-1 at Whitley Bay.

Chris Moore opened the scoring for Whitley Bay as he found himself unmarked in the Shildon penalty area and put the ball past Nick Liversedge in the Shildon goal.

Billy Greulich-Smith then scored two penalties to make the score 2-1 at half time. In the second half Lewis Wing had a shot deflected to beat the keeper at the near post to make it 3-1

ENL 1 : Shildon 2 Whitley Bay 2

Both teams left Dean Street with there unbeaten records in tact after Whitley Bay battled back from a 2-0 deficit.

Shildon started brightly and Anthony Bell shot was deflected in the 12th minute to give Shildon the lead. Then a Paul Connor header gave Shildon a 2-0 lead at the break.

In the second half Whitley Bay scored through Alex Kempster before ex Shildon player Ross Wilkinson scored in the 90th minute to give Whitley Bay a share of the spoils.

Shildon 2 Whitley Bay 0

Shildon moved 5 points clear at the top of the Ebac Northern League with a 2-0 victory against Whitley Bay.

Shildon’s first goal came from Ben Wood who hit the back of the net from 15 yards after a good move between Billy Greulich-Smith and Jamie Harwood.

The second came from the penalty spot. Ben Wood went through on goal tried to take it around the goalkeeper who then brought him down. Anthony Bell scored from the spot and Daniel Gladstone the Whitley Bay keeper was given a yellow card.

Shildon had several other chances through Connor, Rae and Wing to add to the score before the final whistle
