Squad Sponsorships – Limited Opportunities Left

There are now only a limited number of the squad available for sponsorship – so if you would like to sponsor then the time is NOW.

We offer the following opportunities to sponsor your favourite member of the squad:

Player’s Shirt: Home £30; Away £30; Both £50
– Invitation to the end-of-season party.
– A photograph taken of you and your chosen player.
– Your name listed against the player profile in both the matchday programme and on the official website.

Management team £30
– Invitation to the end-of-season party.
– A photograph taken of you and your chosen team member.
– Your name listed against the individual’s profile in both the matchday programme and on the official website.

Squad members can be reserved by sending an email to briarave@hotmail.co.uk confirming which player(s)/team member(s) you want to sponsor and how you are going to pay. Sponsorship can be paid for online (via Bank Transfer – SHILDON AFC LTD, 40-41-24, 10739634), in cash at the ground, or through the till at the clubhouse.

Payment MUST be made within 5 working days to secure your player(s)/team member(s) of choice.

Membership Application – New Dates

The Supporters Club will be holding 2 more membership recruitment events on the following dates:

Monday 19th July 2021 – 6:30pm-7.30pm -Shildon AFC, Dean Street

Monday 26th July 2021 – 6:30pm-7.30pm – Shildon AFC, Dean Street

Application forms will be available and can be completed at each event. Alternatively, you can download an application form from here Membership Application Form and bring it along with you.

As a result of the membership’s vote to adopt a formal constitution, membership of the Shildon AFC Supporters Club is now charged on an annual basis. Membership is £5 Adults (over 18) and £3 juniors (under 18). Only current members will be able to vote at the club AGM. The renewal date for membership is the month of September.

NPL East Division Fixtures 2021/22

We today received confirmation of the fixtures for our first season in the National Premier League East Division. The first couple of months of the season will see us host games with Pickering, Stockton, Tadcaster and Hebburn, and travel to Dunston, Cleethorpes, Marske and Bridlington.

Construction Works at Dean Street

There are currently building works being undertaken at Dean Street to replace the perimeter fencing.

This means that there are a number of excavations around the ground.

There have been a several instances recently where children have been accessing the ground – this is obviously unsafe for them and causes issues for the club, particularly damage to the pitch.

Please ensure that you remind children that Dean Street is private property and is currently unsafe to access unsupervised.

Support for Veterans United Against Suicide

Shildon AFC are keen to recognise and support the work of this cause. They are a group of UK & US veterans that are committed to ending veterans suicide and campaign for better services and treatment for our Veterans.

In support of our veterans we would like to offer a 25% reduction in admission price for any of our home games at Dean Street (upon production of a valid veterans ID card).

We would also like to offer the opportunity for any veterans to attend our weekly Coffee Mornings which are held on a Monday from 10:00hrs to 12:00hrs here at Dean Street.
